This May brings to Edinburgh the European Rugby Challenge Cup and Champions Cup Final at Murrayfield Stadium. With a capacity of over 60,000, this venue and event brings a real buzz to the city, bringing in guests from all over to join in on the rugby excitement.
To keep you energised before and after both games, here at the Ghillie Dhu in our main bar, our kitchen will be prepped and our bar staff at the ready to provide you with your bevvy and grub for the day, to make sure you’re prepared for the celebrations ahead! So book a booth and come along!
On Saturday day evening, if you want to keep those rugby celebrations going, we’ve got our regular Burly Ceilidh Club taking place in our auditorium. From 7pm, grab a 3 course meal and join in the ceilidh fun for £30 per person, or if you just fancy a dance, it’ll be £5 on the door from 9:30pm!
The Murrayfield Stadium, is a fantastic 67,000 capacity stadium, located in the west end of Edinburgh, creating a central hub for sport and music. The stadium has been the home of Scottish rugby since 1925, with Scotland’s first game and win against England, 14 – 11.
And lest not forget the British Lions Tour kicking off on 03 June. As a special treat our main bar will be open from 8am every match day so you can catch all the action live on our big screens. With hot brekkie’s on offer and full kegs what better reason to get out of bed on a summer’s Saturday morning.
